The Bangsamoro Budget Office (BBO), under the umbrella of the Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM), upskills its resource speakers, trainers, and program facilitators in designing, executing, and processing structured learning experiences (SLEs) by leveraging Bloom’s Taxonomy and a variety of training tools through a Public Financial Management Competency Program (PFMCP): Training of Trainers for the BARMM Facilitators and Resource Speakers held on October 1 to 3, 2024 in Tagaytay City.
The activity, in partnership with the DBM-Advocacy, Communications, and Training Service (DBM-ACTS), helped the participants gain practical skills in creating impactful and engaging learning environments, ensuring that their educational initiatives effectively address diverse cognitive skills and learning objectives.
The PFMCP is a competency program of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) that seeks to enhance the technical competencies of PFM practitioners in oversight and spending of government offices. It helps the PFM practitioners to improve their job performance and career growth in support of the broader PFM reforms for improved transparency, accountability, and delivery of public goods and services.
