In an effort to strengthen accountability and transparency with the recently signed FY 2025 General Appropriations Act of the Bangsamoro, the Bangsamoro Government, through the Ministry of Finance and Budget Management (MFBM), conducted an Orientation on the Guidelines for the Release of Funds for FY 2025 and a Workshop on the Preparation of Budget Execution Documents (BEDs). This was held earlier today, January 9, 2025 in Grand Pagana Hall, Cotabato City.

The activity covered several topics which include the following: Salient Features of the FY 2025 GAAB and Release Guidelines, Preparation of the FY 2025 Budget Execution Documents (BEDs), Reiteration of Documentary Requirements for Personnel Services (PS) Requests, and Guidelines for the Conduct of Ministry/Office/Agency Performance Review (MOAPR). These topics were discussed by BBO Director Rahma Sanglitan, Amera R. Macararab, Billie Juharah Ogca, and Ameer Hassan Datumanong, respectively.

The MFBM is committed to increase its efforts in promoting responsible budget management in the Bangsamoro Government.
