In order to address the unique challenges faced by women in the Bangsamoro region, the Bangsamoro Women Commission has allocated a budget of PHP 5.7 million for its Policy Development and Capacity Building Program. This initiative will focus on establishing, reconstituting, and strengthening 33 Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point Systems (GFPS).

 

Moreover, it aims to engage various BARMM Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (M/O/As), as well as women’s organizations and civil society groups, in the policy-making process, ensuring that their voices and perspectives are adequately reflected in the development of policies, plans, and programs.
